Limit the Version History

Hi, my Alfesco database is getting too large because of the version history of the files.

Is there a way to limit the default version history by number of revisions or date?

I also want to know this. Is it possible?
Maybe it´s the setting version.store.migrateVersionStore.limitPerJobCycle ? Don´t know what it does exactly.
