LDAP Integration

Hi,

I've downloaded & installed the Open Version of Alfresco the alfresco-tomcat-1.2.0RC1
I'm a newbie  :wink:

:idea:  I don't know how to configure the ldap authentification whit this version.  

:?: Can  I make this easily / integrate LDAP authentification  ?

I don't think LDAP integration is supported in the Open Source version of Alfresco. You'll need the Enterprise version if I'm not mistaken or you should develop the integration by yourself.

Correct. LDAP is only available in the Enterprise version of Alfresco.

I have recently installed Alfresco Enterprise Network - v1.2.0 (RC2) and I can't seem to find where I can configure LDAP.  I found this posting and it talked about doing it at Java and XML level –> http://www.alfresco.org/mediawiki/index.php/Security_and_Authentication#A_simple_LDAP_authentication...

Is there a way to configure my LDAP authentication at the Administration Console or how do I have Alfresco Groups matched-up with LDAP security groups that are pulled from my somewhere in my Active Directory Tree.  I just need a little guidance how I configure LDAP in Alfresco. thanks.

Hi,

The information for configuring LDAP (and NTLM) is in the wiki - if you send an email to info stating your wiki username you'll be given access to this part of the wiki.

Yes, the LDAP functionality is only in the enterprise version.

this is a just a note to say that LDAP is available in the 1.2 Community release.
