LDAP Configuration

Hello!

I am using alfresco community Edition 4.0D
I have authenticate the user by LDAP configuartion.
I have created a user in LDAP
I have created a group in LDAP.
Using LDAP i want to add that user in that group that i have created.
What should i do for that?
If anybody have any idea,please reply as early as possible.

Hello,

ehm, this depends on the kine of LDAP server and management tool you are using. You should consult the documentation of your specific LDAP system for this.
Or do you already have a group-user membership established in LDAP and Alfresco is not importing this correctly?

Yes Alfresco is not importing the group-user membership correctly even though i have set the relationship in openldap server . If you have some solution on this please reply.

Hello,

for a solution suggestion I first need the know about your setup. How did you realize the group relationship in your OpenLDAP server (attribute name)? Which attribute name do you have configured in Alfresco LDAP configuration for retrieving the memberships? Posting a (redacted) LDAP configuration file from Alfresco will help. A LDIF file presenting an example user and group from your OpenLDAP server would be nice too.
