The changes made seems to improve the server's performance, furthermore I still want to optimize the JVM configuration mentioned here –> http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Repository_Hardware , unfortunately it was not mentioned what file to edit, I have no idea either.
It depends somewhat on what version of Alfresco you have, but first look at your Alfresco.sh…. but that might call another script to start tomcat, so it could be that as well (something like ./tomcat/conf/ctl.sh).
