Issue Installing Records Management AMP

Hi

I am trying to install Records Management using the latest release of Alfresco (alfresco-community-5.0.d-installer-linux-x64.bin) and Records Management (alfresco-rm-2.3.c.zip), downloaded from here http://sourceforge.net/projects/alfresco/files/Alfresco%205.0.d%20Community/

I am using the latest Bitnami Amazon implementation: https://bitnami.com/stack/alfresco/cloud/amazon

I am following this installation instructions: http://docs.alfresco.com/rm2.3/tasks/rm-amp-install.html

After installation if I check the installed AMPs I can see both the RM server and RM share listed: sudo java -jar alfresco-mmt.jar list /opt/bitnami/apache-tomcat/webapps/alfresco.war

If I delete the tomcat\webapps\alfresco and tomcat\webapps\share folders then I cannot access the Web application again (yes server has been started back).

If I leave those two folders I can then access the site but the RM module is not there (Create Site > Type)

I have been looking for a solution for the past weeks but couldn't find any reason. If you have any idea of what is going on or have successfully installed RM, please let me know.

Thanks in advance

Don't know if you still have the same issue but I had the same problem on windows 2008 server. Did my head in trying to find out why it wouldn't work.

It worked for me once I ran the apply_amps.bat file in the /bin directory after installing the amps.

Hope that helps
