Integration with Portal

Hi all,

We are using Alfresco for WCM and the published content needs to be consumed by the portal( weblogic portal).
What are the possible integration approaches ? Also what are the possible ways in which meta data from Alfresco can be pushed to portal .Kindly guide.

similiar szenario here.
 
It all pretty much depends on your requirements.

We've chosen to use SURF and Studio as we want the CMS to be aware of "site objects" for various reasons (i.e. preview).

The "problem" with this approach is that you have to map the two "site models" : navigation, pages, regions, portlets, components, themes, chromes etc.

From my experience, this is a general problem when you combine a CMS with a portal, and even products from one vendor have serious problems here.

My "favourite" one is the navigation.
