ACS Community integration with Entra ID

Do someone integrate Alfresco Community (or Enterprise) with Entra ID service ? Do you have some guidelines for this setup ?

Hi cesarista,

AFAIK, starting from ACS 23.3 it should be a full compliance with OIDC/OAuth2, so you should be able to use Entra ID too.

Only for confirmation, does this require a keycloak intermediate server or may be directly pointed to Entra ID endpoints ?

You can use directly Oidc/Oauth2 Entra ID endpoints.

If you want to use SAML endpoints you need a Oidc/Oauth2 IdP in the middle (like Keycloak).

Yes, Alfresco can integrate with Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) using SAML. Use Alfresco’s SAML module and configure Entra ID as the Identity Provider. Follow Alfresco SAML documentation and Entra ID setup guides for SAML-based SSO.

Thanks for your message. The thing is that SAML addon is deprecated >7.2 and it is only valid for Alfresco Enterprise.
