Installing Alfresco Enterprise with the setup wizard

Hello. I will install version 4.1 of Alfresco Enterprise but the database is Oracle and is on another server. If the installation is done from the setup wizard unchecking the Postgresql installation, what would I tell to the wizard? Does the installation through the setup wizard support the Oracle driver? Should I do a completely manual installation?

Hi joporo, If you install alfresco by setup wizard with unchecking PostgreSQL, It will ask you for Database configuration.

In Database configuration screen you need to manually provide your database detail - [JDBC URL, Driver, DB Name , username and password to connect
your database.]

So you can set up alfresco with Oracle DB by setUp wizard with Advanced installation type.

Once your installation is done, you can do any change in your database through alfresco-global.properties file and I think, you also need to manually install oracle db jar file to

<TOMCAT_HOME>/lib ‍
