How to use forms in Explorer

Hello,

I'm new in Alfresco,i've downloweded the community server to use it to manage documents.And i'm wondering how can i use costom forms to upload files,let's say that i have an invoice and i wanna upload it using a form with fields such as client's name,N° of the invoice…..
I've seen that there is a forms engine,is it something to install over the community server?
Can u please tell me steps i should follow to achieve this.

I suggest to build a jsp page and use alfresco JSF UI component.

I think you better create a new data type and put all the required fileds inside it by creating new data model.
