how to create user using alfresco api

hi ,
   I am working on a project where we are using alfresco api's .i want to create users using alfresco api .
can anyone suggest me how can i do that ? can i use javascript api ?
it would be really helpful for me if i get answer to my questions .

Can u please tell me which API you are using? Can you share the code by which you are accessing the repository starting from authentication and repository tasks?
