Hello,
I have recently deployed alfresco on an EC2 instance ( Amazon Web Services). I am using an EBS volume which holds both the root directory for alfresco and The necessary mysql folders.
Right now, i back up the entire EBS volume twice a day 12:30 am and pm. the problem here is that if a restore is necessary, everyone will be affected by the restore.
Thus, my question. is it possible to restore user spaces on an individual basis.
Thank you.
Nabil

(1) Restore to another instance of Alfresco, and export / import just the required data back to your production instance.
(2) Alternatively, access Alfresco using CIFS and backup the contents directly to S3.
With (1) metadata, etc are preserved.

But beware - (1) from Zaizi does not work with share sites - there you have to restore the AVM spacestore as well, as mike pointed out somewhere on my question.
