Help with installation - Debian 5 3.2 Community Ed

Just getting a blank page on start up.

http://192.168.10.50:8080/alfresco/faces/jsp/dashboards/container.jsp

Also I get this in teh logs which I think is significant

13:33:00,384 WARN  [org.alfresco.repo.admin.ConfigurationChecker] The Alfresco 'dir.root' property is set to a relative path './alf_data'.  'dir.root' should be overridden to point to a specific folder.

But I have changed it to a relative path?

Any help with getting this setup on debian would b very much appreciated!!  I need it working quick to help me with some accreditation I am going through for my business.

I wouldn't expect a blank page with that warning.

Is there anything else in the log file? Do you see the login page?
