Hi, I started to work at this company about 2 months ago as a technical support and this company uses Alfresco 3.3 on a Windows Server 2003 32bit Server, everything was working fine until one day everyone cannot see the login page of Alfresco share, I have never touch Alfresco in my entire life before, now my company wants me to repair it & i have been going thru some help forum & still couldn't find a solution to my problems, below is what i get when I'm trying to go in to Alfresco Share, please someone explain it to me before i go crazy, thanks in advance.

Hi Terry
some amount windows sys admin skill will help you to find, the MySQL installation path(directory). First do find the installation directory .
Also advisable to find help from some one who is locally available there, who could look into your system and help u
You have to solve the database issue if, you want to use the installed instance.
May be some one can help you, if you can give remote desktop to check, but I am not sure it is a good practice
Thanks
Joseph John

I think I found the mysql installation path, from the windows services for mysql. There's a program call OrangeHRM and it is no longer being use but they didn't remove it, maybe because that the mysql is install under it ?  i couldn't find mysql files inside alfresco's folder.

"C:\Program Files\OrangeHRM\2.5.0.3\mysql\bin\mysqld" "–defaults-file=C:\Program Files\OrangeHRM\2.5.0.3\mysql\bin\my.cnf" mysql

Also, under Alfresco's tomcat folder i found these files ;
C:\Alfresco\tomcat\webapps\alfresco.war
C:\Alfresco\tomcat\webapps\mobile.war
C:\Alfresco\tomcat\webapps\share.war

Are these the files i should be looking for  :?:

Did you try starting mysql from the command line, you may need to give the full path

please try and observer the result,

From the configuration , I came to know your database is "chakra" , so if you get mysql prompt check for databse "'chakra'

I found out that the problem is mysql cannot startup, so i spend some time trying to study sql by myself online to help me better understand more about it. I found the error log file "*.err" but i can't seem to figure out where the problem is, can u help shed some light on this ?? it seems like the problem started around 13/April/2012. Please have a look below, thanks.

This could be because you hit a bug. It is also possible that this binary
or one of the libraries it was linked against is corrupt, improperly built,
or misconfigured. This error can also be caused by malfunctioning hardware.
We will try our best to scrape up some info that will hopefully help diagnose
the problem, but since we have already crashed, something is definitely wrong
and this may fail.

We will try our best to scrape up some info that will hopefully help diagnose
