Everytime I try to set up Alfresco on a new box I run into the same problem.
I set up mysql and the Alfresco war, then I do a database import onto the new box from the old one. The thing is everytime I try to start up the server I get a predictable exception:
"Ensure that dir.root property is pointed at the right location"
I'm not even sure what this exception is a sign of. I do have that property pointed to the correct folder. I have tried deleting all the contents in the folder and doing an INDEX_RECOVERY_MODE=FULL but nothing seems to work.
Can someone please explain to me what this exception means, what is probably causing it and how to fix it?
