generate BPMN 2.0 xml errors

Hi,

I use Activiti Designer to create a diagram which is consisted of 3 UserTask. But when I save it, It cann't generate BPMN 2.0 xml and give error message:"UserTask ChuangjianrenTask has no assignee, candidate users, candidate groups set". There isn't User or Group icon in Designer Palette.

Do I have to manually modify the xml of diagram? And How to add assignee, users, groups?

Hello, you have to set those properties in Properties tab. Select user task and open 'Properties' tab below - you can choose assignees/candidates there

I have set those properties in Properties Tab and saved it. But error message still exists which is "UserTask ChuangjianrenTask has no assignee, candidate users, candidate groups set".

I have upgraded my activiti designer from 0.6 to 0.7. But problem cann't be solved.

Further more I find that whatever I selected Performer type combox (assignee,candidate users,candidate groups) in Properties Tab, when I saved it and reopened it, It always show assignee option.

I overcome it. I deleted the diagram created by old version designer and do again with Activiti Designer 0.7. Pay attention to main config in Properties Tab, If you selected Performer type combox, you should input user name or group name in expression textarea.

But why deployment editor isn't available when right-clicking on an Activiti diagram in the package explorer? It's well at version 0.6.

Hi,

The deployment editor is removed from version 0.6 and replaced with a bar and jar archive file creation.
When you right-click on the project the menu shows at the bottom an option to create deployment artifacts.
Then a deployment folder is created with a bar file and an optional jar file when you also have Java classes in your project.
