We are wondering how to translate "join date" into French. It depends on the context. However we have not found "join date" anywhere on the web client interface. Can anyone tell me where it is ?

I think "Join Date", included in the username properties, stands for "date d'inscription", and is different from "Created Date".

Created date is the date the user is for the first time defined in Alfresco (through invitation or pré-registration), then Join date is the date the user is officially defined in Alfresco (has answered positively to the invitation, or has completed a challenge-response registration process).

This is what i think, but i can be wrong …

Here is a first proposition of scheme for french messages.

We can divide messages in categories : significant words, descriptions, labels

Significant words:

a word that has a meaning like "Espace" which is not a space character but an area in which we put items (I'm going to build a list of french significant words). A significant word must start with an uppercase letter.


Descriptions:
————-
A description contains one or more sentences. Each sentence must start with an uppercase letter and finish with a dot. Each word contained in the description is in lowercase except for significant word.

Labels
——
The labels are messages that appear in menus, forms, shelfs. A label must start with an uppercase letter but must not finish with a dot. The label must be a valid and meaning french sentence. It means rather than "Créer contenu" we must write "Créer un contenu" or more verbose "Créer un nouveau contenu".
