I have been reading "http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Records_Management_User_Guide"

Thnx!!

Ok,

I have got the "alfresco-recordsmanagement.amp" (v2.1.1) from the alfresco portal and used to management tool to install the module.

I have used the following command:

C:\Alfresco\bin>java -jar alfresco-mmt.jar install c:\alfresco\bin C:\Alfresco\tomcat\webapps\alfresco.war -directory -force

My logfile shows no errors:

Based on message below, your RM module did not get installed.  i think the arguments you gave are not in the right order (don't remember off the top of my head).  .

Another way to install modules is to put them into amps directory (in tomcat installation), and run apply_amps.bat script.  This will modify the war file appropriately (runs mmt tool underneath the hood).

To create a file plan, you go to create spaces / advanced spaces, and after RM module is installed, there should be an option for file plan to be created.  FilePlan is based on a Space definition, so this is why it works this way.

After you install the RM module, you will also see extra spaces in Company Home.

Thanks a lot!

This works perfect, i could not find the AMP Folder in tomcat but after creating the folder within c:\alfresco all worked like you said.

Now i can continue exploring RM
