Email archiving solutions

Hi,

I've already posted the topic http://forums.alfresco.com/en/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=23454. Regardless of this topic, I wonder about how email archiving is commonly achieved with Alfresco or how do other Alfresco users realise this topic. In particular, I am interested solutions which perform email archiving automatically (without additional user interaction) and can be applied with arbitrary email clients.

Hi bfriedrich,

one approach may be like, create a action which will fetch the mails from server using IMAP,with the help of JCA.then apply this action to a space or folder in DM.
we can invoke this at regular intervals using some job scheduler like OSQuartz.
