Dynamically edit & redeploy a process in Activiti

Is it possible to dynamically edit a process ( Suppose there are few active instances associated to that process) and redeploy that instance.. If yes, will the change be reflected to the current active instances?

No, the active instances will remain running in the old one.

If the changes are minimal, you can always set the process definition foreign key in the database to change it.

Thanks a lot . By changing the Process definition id in ACT_RU_EXECUTION it worked.
