Duplicate name exists on the network, unable to connect

I have four computers in a network.
One system is the alfresco server, and the three other are the clients.

I have been using with out problems for about 2 months.

I recently built a new system, and that one is unable to mount the alfresco drive.The server and clients are Windows XP sp2 machines.

I can access the alfresco drive from the other PCs.
I can access the normal windows shared drive from the problem PC.
But I can not map the alfresco drive.

I have tried putting the host name in the lmhosts. - no luck
I have tried using the IP address to connect - no luck

The web interface works on all four machines.
Below is what I typed and got back when I tried to connect.

Any clues?

Hi,

I am in same case 3 years later    … some of my network computers access corretly through CIFS to alfresco server: \\alfrescoA and other machines says that a duplicate name exist, I think it could be something DNS about but cannot see the problem, I allready try the policy Send LM & NTLM…

Any help?
