Does auditing works out-of-the-box in alfresco share?

  I am using Alfresco 4.0. I want to know does auditing works out-of-the-box alfresco share? And If yes then please share some information about it!

By default auditing is turned off.   You will need to configure what you want audited and turn it on.

There's no such thing as auditing in Alfresco Share.  Share is a user interface.

The Alfresco Repository which is used by Share is what has auditing.

Have you tried the audit dashlet?
