Does Alfresco supports marathi language?

Hi Gurus,
I want to know that alfresco supports marathi language?
if yes then how to configure that.

My project requirement is like after uploading any document to repository i want to edit my custom metadata.
At that time i can enter data into marathi language.

I am using Alfresco 4.0.e community version.

OOTB it does not support the marathi language.
And as per your requirement I guess you do not want all the messages and labels to be shown in marathi right?
Then I think you should be able to do it provided your db support utf8 encoding.

When i am entering data against that labels at that time i want to enter it in marathi language.

I am using Mysql as a database.Does it supports utf8?

alfresco is the DB name, please change it to your DB name

during the creation of your alfresco database you just need to specify that thing.

If you are using the installer then your can checkout the db script files which creates the db for you.

Hi Mit,
You are right in understanding that label and messages will be in English.
We want marathi language to be enter in alfresco front end metadata section and also needs to be saved in mysql.
We are able to save in mysql.But we want your help in configuring the alfresco to use utf8 like should we use some font or some script.
Where should we do the changes for alfresco share environment.

If you are able to store and retrieve from db properly you need not to configure anything else.
Are you facing any problem?
