does Alfresco support RTL , LRT ?

I have given this a try and it does "work" but doesn't look very nice with our current UI layout.

So, if you want to make the change and try it yourself, you need to edit the following file for a tomcat installation:

tomcat\webapps\alfresco\css\main.css

for JBoss you will need to unpack the WAR, edit the file and repack and redeploy it yourself.

Edit the file thus:

body
{
   font-family: Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
   background-color: white;
   direction: rtl;
}

Make sure you clear your brower temporary file cache to see the change!

The UI will then render left-to-right, but it doesn't look very good it looks like our table layouts don't respond very well to this layout mode. I will create a JIRA task to look at improving the layout for RTL fonts for a future version.
