Hello Alfresco Community,
We are currently running Alfresco Content Services (ACS) 7.4.2, which ships with Spring Boot 2.6.8.
As part of a security review, we identified several vulnerabilities affecting the Spring Boot version bundled with ACS 7.4.2. We are evaluating the possibility of upgrading Spring Boot from 2.6.8 to 2.7.10 in order to address some of these vulnerabilities. We would like to know whether anyone from the community has already performed this upgrade and can share their experience.
- Has Spring Boot 2.7.10 been successfully tested with ACS 7.4.2? Have you encountered any compatibility issues with Alfresco modules, repositories, Share, or custom extensions? Is there any official guidance regarding supportability of such an upgrade outside the version delivered by Alfresco? Any feedback, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
