Nope,
only thing I changed in alfresco-global is configuration of login chain for LDAP, mail, etc. Nothing to do with versioning or repository.
It's almost vanilla installation. I did'nt change any module's configuration or anything like that. Can you reproduce the behavior I am describing? I thought about that and maybe it is "not a bug but feature".
Alfresco Share correctly removes versions when versionable aspect is removed and it add's versionable aspekt back automaticly with "Upload new version" button. Even dialog for uploading new version says to choose between minor/major version. So I gues it just add's the versionable aspect in the process of uploading new document version.
I discussed this with my superior and inability to disable versioning should not be such a problem for us. Though I will have to install/implement module to limit maximum number of versions (already found something to build upon, so it hopefuly won't be a problem).
Right now I am merely curius if it's a bug or a feature. When I have time I may test older versions of alfresco, if they behave same or not and I will post results here.
Thank you for your time.
