Hi,

I only need (want) users to use Share. Is it possible to have Share accessable by users and disable 8080:/Alfresco (explorer) access?

Many thanks,

Jim

You can do this via a firewall rule on the server, but be very careful to ensure Share itself still has access to the /alfresco webapp.

Thanks,
Mike

Or you can use Apache as a reverse proxy and only mount /share. (And/or use .htaccess for fine graining access rules on /alfresco) .

I'm also looking for the same solution: to disable Alfresco Explorer and omit "share" from the URL, ie:
http://server.company.com/share to become just http://server.company.com/

On Linux (Apache) and Windows 2003 Server (IIS6) frontending Tomcat?
