Different rights between AD Users and Alfresco Users

Hi,

In one hand I've got Users synchronized from an Active Directory, and in the other hand, I've got Users registered in alfresco (from admin's console or from invitation site).

How can I know if a user is from AD or "Alfresco resgistering" ?

Actually, I would put different rights for this 2 groups, but they aren't in a group… (sorry for my english…)

Thanks a lot

The only way that I can think of is to manually go to your AD and put for short period of time all your AD users in groups and then check which of the users in alfresco are no part of those groups. Create a alfresco group and put all alfresco users in it.
Also note that alfresco do not support groups over groups, meaning if you already have groups in AD and add those groups to just one, you will not see any users in that big group, also you will not see any groups in it too.

Maybe if you do a further research on the net you can find more convenient way to do this.

Ok, I did it manually… I've got 2 groups
- Group_Users_AD
- Group_Users_Alfresco

Is it possible to disable (or hide) access to the following menu for the "Group_Users_Alfresco" :
- Tasks,
- People,
- Repository

I don't find a good way (or simple way) in Alfresco 4.2.f 😕
