daily or weekly notification reports

We have many folders with e-mail notifications enabled. Instead of each action generating a new mail we would like to send daily mail reports about changes in these folders. Is this possible. Has anyone done this ?

Yes, this is possible to do. Just queue the messages and configure a scheduled action to send them once a day.
