Customized content (like a wiki or blog)

I want to allow users create custom content (a news, an interview) as the same way they can create a wiki or a blog.
Do you know how can I do this? Or at least do you know how the wiki and blog was developed?

What do you mean by "how the wiki and blog was developed"? Have you looked through the source code..?
