Customize Dashboard in MT Domain

I am having trouble customizing dashboards of existing users with multi-tenancy enabled. Normally I would log into the repo through ftp and into the AVM directory, but any directory I try to open under that I get a error. My FTP client (filezilla) returns…

Status:   Retrieving directory listing…
Command:   CWD /AVM
Response:   250 Requested file action OK
Command:   CWD @test.com@sitestore
Response:   550 Invalid path @test.com@sitestore
Error:   Failed to retrieve directory listing

I can get into the Alfresco directory and all of it's sub-directories. Also tried connecting via both local network and from external host and from command line ftp all with similar results.
I have checked here http://forums.alfresco.com/en/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=14127&p=46538&hilit=ftp+list+avm#p46538,  but did not get any useful info from it. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

Oh also, I have disabled the 'Customize Dashboard' button for non-admin users. In any case I would not want to log in as each user to make the changes. I would prefer to do it through FTP, command line, or some other admin function. As a final alternative is there a way to reset/delete all users dashboards so that it picks up the settings from presets.xml?
