We have a requirement to customize the File Upload dialog to include custom meta data, defined by an aspect. We have created the aspect and defined a rule on a folder to apply this aspect to all files uploaded to the folder. The aspect is basically two dropdown lists that we want to require the user to make selections in for any document in the folder. This works well as is. What I want to do now is prompt the person uploading one or more documents to the folder to make the dropdown selections. Then save the selection for all files uploaded. We basically want to mass assign a custom property to all files uploaded.
I have come across a few instances of people attempting similar activities, but nothing definitive. Has anyone done this, or can anyone point me in the right direction?
