Is it possible to deny to a created user the ability to create a s pace and manage users inside his home space, but to allow hime to create content?

You can create custom roles http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Permissions_and_Roles_Configuration#Default_Permissions

and some changes it would be required on creating user home so correct roles are aplayed .
