Count pages in a PDF

Comrades,

I need to navigate between different folders, retrieve the PDF files, count the pages and display the result in a dashboard.

Anyone have any idea how to do this?

I resolved this issue by creating an action that counts the number of pages in a PDF at the moment it enters the repository. Code available on Google Code:
