Could not support chinese.

I have installed Alfresco 1.4, but found that it could not support chinese characters (the file content).

When i login into Alfresco, the language is "English".[/img]

Alfresco can support any UTF-8 language including Chinese. We have tested chinese character set in documents ok. You need to make sure your database is set to "utf-8" for this to work.

There is not a chinese language pack yet for a recent Alfresco version - the last simplified Chinese pack is now very old:

There is a project on the Alfresco Forge to create a new Chinese language pack.

I find that "default-character-set=utf8" is in the "my.ini".
I have found that the chinese file name of documents is supported but the chinese content of documents is not supported.

We have no problem in document content for Traditional Chinese.

BTW, is there a Traditional Chinese language pack planned?

I only begin to test the Alfresco, and there is no a plan for the language pack now.
I normally use the Simple Chinese Language.
