Copy Permissions

Hi

I used Alfresco Share to create a template in Repository > Data Dictionary > Space Templates.

Within the folders, I also set their permissions

I created a new site.

I go back to the template I created - select all the folders - and then Copy to the new site - documentLibrary

The folders are copied but the permissions are not.

Can somebody please assist me to achieve the above?

Hi

Templates have no special rights to copy permissions.

To copy permissions a user needs to be able to read permissions on the source and write them after creation.
So you need to put these permissions in place.
There is no special "copy template behaviour". There is an issue to resolve the required behaviour for this use case.
