Content-Type Conversions from PDF to MS Word etc

Hi there,

Well can anyone tell me how this stuff works like when we require to Convert one mime type to another .
Let's suppose i have  a MS word doc can i convert it to a PDF, i tried to perform this transformation but it generated an error.

Is this possible with Alfresco Enterprise Version or what's the logic for Trnaformation of Content?  Are there only some predefine Mime types which only can be transformed like when i tranform .txt file to pdf it works fine .
Throw some light on this Transformations as i was expecting any kind of transformations like html to pdf , ms word to pdf, etc.

Some of the more interesting transformations require OpenOffice service to be running. All transformations from one mimetype to another are fully configurable in Alfresco and you can plugin your own transformation classes and external programs if you need to.
