connecting to alfresco repository from a surf based applicat

Hi i'm developing a small application on top of alfresco using surf framework.

I followed a great tutorial @ http://www.benh.co.uk/alfresco/surf-part-1-getting-started/

Now i have created a sample page successfully.
And now i want to access my alfresco from this application.
Can anyone just give me the small details about accessing the alfresco from this site.
Actually i want to see all the folders in alfresco from this sample surf based application.
Just give me the brief details so that i can digg into this more.

Though I havent tried but it gives you an example of interacting with remote Alfresco content store.

Take a look at Alfresco the implemetation of Alfresco Share.    Its already doing what you are trying to do.
