Configure CFIS version 3.0

I have been spending nearly 2 days try to configure Alfresco to get the CFIS to work.  I have done a lot of reading but did not find anything.  Does anybody have any luck with this?  If you do can you point me to a right direction.

The version i'm trying right now is version Alfresco 3b running on Window XP using trial dB.

Are you still using version 3.0 or are you just opening up an old thread?

Could you clarify your second sentence please.   And is this a problem for all clients or just windows 7 clients?

I updated my sentence in the old message.
I followed the previous Post on setting up the Windows 7 client and still get the Authentication problems.

I eventually resolved the problems by adding the {AlfrescoServerName}A to the /etc/hosts with the corresponding IP address. Thanks !
