Hello.
On alfresco community 5.1. sometimes when I assign permissions a get the options (manager, consumer, contributor, collaborator) and other ocasions I get the options (site manager, site consumer, site contributor, site collaborator).
Why is that?.
Which is the difference between these permissions?
Regards.

It depends where the contents are stored in the repository.
If you are discovering a Share site and any of the included contents in the document library for example, here the web context is related to the collaboration site, that is a partition of the repository dedicated to collaborate among users.
For this scenario Share allows you to choose among the following roles:
The site context is useful because in this way you can assign permission based on the site roles.
When you are browsing the repository externally from a site context, Alfresco allows you to use the standard user roles:
Hope this helps.

It sounds strange to me, actually I don't have any Alfresco 5.1 Community for making some tests.
I'm wondering if this can be a regression bug.
