CIFS not working

Hi,

I'm relatively new to alfresco and still exploring all its features. i read that it is possible to explore the space just like windows explorer. i triued it using my alfresco setup but getting the "Page cannot be displayed" error. Do i need to do any special configuration in my setup to enable CIFS. By the way, i'm in a LAN environment.

I assume you have a working alfresco configuration at this point.

How are you trying to access the cifs directory?

Are you in a windows or linux environment? Do you get any pertinent error messages in your alfresco.log file?
