I've searched the forum for an answer to this but was unsuccessful. We have a webserver (Windows) outside of our firewall and I need for it to communicate with our Alfresco server (Linux) which is inside the firewall. Is there anything special that needs to be done to the Linux box in order for this to happen? According to our network guy, the traffic is hitting the linux server but is being refused. All of the proper ports are open and I've made sure the authentication is the same between the two servers. I've attached a screenshot of the traffic.

Why have you mentioned CIFS as a tag and in the title. A "WebServer" will typically know nothing about CIFS.
Could you also please explain what you intend to show in the JPG above. Looks like port 25 to me.
Are you interested in web i.e. http on 80 or CIFS?

Thanks for the quick reply. I mention CIFS because the webserver outside of the firewall is not an Alfresco server and the software that's running on it is not Alfresco however it needs to be able to retrieve files from our Alfresco server which is inside of our firewall. This other software needs to be able to see a path to the Alfresco server and the only way I know to do this is via CIFS. The bottom line is that I need to be able to log into the webserver, click on Start/Run and type in a path to Alfresco…how would I do this without CIFS?
Thanks
