Change user permission in Alfresco

Hello guys,

I use Alfresco 4.2.c and I have access to the database.
Is it possible to change a simple user (I have integration with LDAP) to admin one (through the databbase)?
Or I specificly need to do that by using the admin user?

Hello,

If there's alfrescoNtlm in your authentication chain, you can add your simple user to ALFRESCO_ADMINISTRATORS group with the admin user.
If not, you can add the login of your simple user in the ldap.authentication.defaultAdministratorUserNames parameter of your LDAP configuration.
