change company home name

Hey

I am trying to use Alfresco for an application that a department here wants me to do and i dont know if this is possible but i would like to get rid of (or hide for every user but admin) the sandbox folders Personal, guest space and my Alfresco, and also rename company home to something else, if possible without changing the directory path. Any ideas??

Im not sure what you mean by "the sandbox folders Personal" but you can change all the names (e.g. Company home, My alfresco, .. ) in

/opt/alfresco/tomcat/webapps/alfresco/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/messages/webclient_en_US.properties

or in your language.properties

Moreover, you can change the folder name "Company home"
- go to "Company home"
- more actions
- view details
- modify properties
- change name as desired

If you want to get rid of the Guest home (or any other space) just go to "Manage space users" and delete "EVERYONE" and "guest" users - it will become "invisible" to everybody accept admin.

here my requirement is to dispaly the tenant name as default in place of company home. is it possible to do it using any script . as per above explanation we need to change manually every time.

The result is , it changed on workspace, but not on the Navigator.
Anyone know how to change the 'Company Home' on the Navigator?

FYI, changing the name in webclient_en_US.properties seems to work well.
