Hello… I am not a developer or other technical  type. I am a RM person so this question may be a little simple.

When I am viewing  a particular Record Category I have what appears to be an error. What does it mean?

10050050 Wrapped Exception (with status template): 10050049 Failed to execute script '/org/alfresco/slingshot/documentlibrary/dod5015-doclist.get.js (in classpath store file:C:/Alfresco/32Records/tomcat/webapps/alfresco/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/templates/webscripts)': 10050048 Node is not a records management node type.

I'm not a technical person or developer either…

Some questions for you:
Do you have this problem on just a single record category or all record categories?
Can you create a new category successfully?
How did this category get created in the first place, did you create manually or attempt an import, or is it part of the the sampel data load?
Have you used the Alfresco Explorer client at all to access the RM site?

Thanks

There is no obvious answer to this. The message indicates that the categories you are attempting to view are not recognized as valid RM nodes and hence can't be processed by the user interface. Something somehwere is getting corrupted, but I can't explain why they might be. If you have access the RM site the Explorer client it is conceivable though unlikely that this might happen.

As an adminsitrator can you delete the File Plan->Military Files category and recreate it?

Hello…

In Web Client I Created the following space  Test 10000, in that space  I Created Test 10001, in that space I Created  Test 10002  and in this space I Created Test 10003. When I go into the RM Site each of the spaces shows the same error (see below) the only difference is the 8 digit numbers.

10170311 Wrapped Exception (with status template): 10170310 Failed to execute script '/org/alfresco/slingshot/documentlibrary/dod5015-doclist.get.js (in classpath store file:C:/Alfresco/32Records/tomcat/webapps/alfresco/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/templates/webscripts)': 10170309 Node is not a records management node type.

PS
How do you put an image into a posting?
Thanks

Don't use the Explorer client to access the Records Management site (did you see the warning across the top of the folders?)

How do you put an image into a posting?
Use an external image hosting service like ImageShack (or Skitch if you're on a Mac)

Thanks,
Mike

That's not supported in our current implementation, as it wasn't required for DoD certification.

Thanks,

Can you at least help me to do customization?  I was able to add multiple categories but I can not create a folder if I want to.  If you can help with this, at least I will do on my own.

Many thanks for your previous reply.

It's much more involved than you might first think due to the Disposition Schedule calculations, so it's out-of-scope for forum support; sorry.

Thanks,
Mike
