Newbie question...Explorer vs. Share

After attending devcon in NYC I was under the impression that I should no longer be using Alfresco Explorer and to start using Share going forward.  This is confusing to me becacuse I do not see any WCM functionality in Share.  I don't see how you would be able to create forms and submit them.  I can get to them in the repository as files but I can't interact with them.  My assumption is that Share is for document management and I should continue to use Explorer for WCM.  Is this correct?

Yes, if you're using the "AVM" style if WCM that's true.

Share supports the new "Web Quick Start" way of approaching WCM, which is built upon Surf and the DM repository.

Sorry for any confusion.

Thanks,
Mike

Does this mean that at some point Explorer will be retired in favour of web quick start or will it continue to be supported and upgraded?

Explorer will continue to be supported, but not necessarily upgraded with new functionality.

Thanks,
Mike

So going forward, if my ogranization decides not to use web quick start and the surf platform we should use the Explorer interface for WCM?
