Can I share one mysql database with 2 alfresco installations

Hi all!

I'm trying to install a new version of Alfresco in machine B, but want to use the data stored in the working database which is used by Alfresco installed in machine A.
Before doing it I'm reading all about it and it seems that only have to copy the alf_data directory from machine A to machine B. Am I right?

If you want to use both server A and server B toogether then you will need to configure an alfresco cluster.
