Automatic event does not work?

Hi,

I could not get the automatic event to work (e.g. Superseded).
See test data: Military Files => Military Assignment Documents => New Folder => New Record (Declared).

I superseded my new record with another record by creating a reference "Superseded By".

But the record is only marked for "cutoff" when I complete the Superseded event.

So what would be the difference between an automatic and a manual event?

Your understanding is correct. I think the problem may be with the disposal schedule example which was created before the automated events worked properly.

Try creating your own category and disposal schedule and try it again, it should work.
