Hello,

I'm looking for a way to associate a space with a content type.  Use case: when users copy-paste (via CIFS) documentsinto a certain folder, the docs should automatically have a certain content type.

I believe I could achieve this by creating a number of custom folder types in my data model and associating the folders with a custom content type.

However, when I create a space via the wizard, there is no way to select which "folder type" the space has.  Do I have to customize the wizard to expose this? Or is there another way?

best regards,
Roeland

This should be possible using rules. There is an action to specialise a type, which you can use when someone adds content to a space.

As for creating spaces of different types the "Space Wizards" section in web-client-config.xml is where spaces of other types can be configured. To create a space of a type other than the default you need to use the Advanced Space Wizard.
