Assigning and viewing content categories in share?

on 3.2 EE how would we assign content categories and view the categories assigned to them?

I'm trying to figure out the same thing. Couldn't find any REST API calls to access the Category information either.

Categories are supported on the View Details and Edit Metadata pages if you give your content the Classifiable aspect.

In 3.2r Enterprise (due to be released at the end of Feb) categories are fully supported by the optional "Repository Library" in Share. There will be a second tree showing your category structure and any categories assigned to documents & folders will be clickable as tags are today.

Yes, it's in HEAD now. Take a look in share-config-custom.xml.sample in WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/web-extension for the config to make the link visible. Or simply browse to /share/page/repository

No, that feature isn't on the roadmap. I suggest you raise a JIRA request detailing how you'd like it to work - it's always better to have "real-life" requirements when we plan future enhancements.
