We are in the process of creating a commercial product and we want to embed Alfresco. We are using Jboss as the application server. Can Alfresco be used with JBoss ? If its under development, what is the timeline for the same ?
We are running Alfresco in JBoss. You may want to read this http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Deploying_WAR_JBoss and remember, if JBoss runs with all modules enabled plus Alfresco, it runs out of "PermSize". Search this forum for "JAVA_OPTS".
Probably you'll need to add "-XX:MaxPermSize=128m" to the JAVA_OPTS.
Thanks a lot for the reply. I would also like to know, in order to embed Alfresco (source code) in our project what are steps to be done. We are going for this approach so as to avoid the SSO option.
